Therese McNerney is the founder of the Professional Health & Fitness Institute. She has been practicing orthopedic and manual physical therapy since graduating from The University of Texas in 1986. Dr. McNerney has been lecturing nationally since 1991 on Orthopedics, Manual Therapy, Pilates, Strength & Conditioning, Weight Management, and Core Stabilization. Dr. McNerney is currently practicing at Precision Physical Therapy and Pilates, a cash-based practice she started in 1999. This 4000 sq. ft. facility located in Bethesda, MD offers outpatient physical therapy, pilates mat, pilates equipment training, and personal training. This cash based physical therapy model has been reproduced by physical therapists all over the United States.
Marcie Schwartz is a licensed Physical Therapist with a B.S. in Biology from the University of Ohio (1997) and a Masters in Physical Therapy from Andrews University (1999).
Marcie is a Maitland Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT), a Professional Health & Fitness Institute Certified Pilates Instructor, a Certified Instructor in Sports-metrics which is a nationally recognized and research driven ACL Prevention Program, ART Certified, and Kineticore Dry Needling Certified.
